Types by Construction
Stringer Pallets
2x4 or 3x4 boards (stringers) run between the top and bottom deck boards, parallel to the pallet length.
Block Pallets
Both parallel and perpendicular stringers with blocks of solid wood between the top and bottom deck boards.
Double-Face Pallets
Deck boards on both top and bottom surfaces, providing extra support for heavy loads.
Wing Pallets
Top deck boards extend beyond the stringers, creating "wings" on the sides.
Solid Deck Pallets
No spaces between top deck boards, creating a solid surface.
