Our Zero-Waste Process

Our zero-waste program follows a comprehensive approach to ensure that no material goes to waste:

• 1.Collection: We collect used pallets from businesses across Southern Ontario, regardless of condition.
• 2.Inspection & Sorting: Each pallet is carefully inspected and sorted based on its condition and potential for reuse.
• 3.Repair & Refurbishment: Pallets in good condition are repaired and refurbished to extend their useful life.
• 4.Material Recovery: Pallets beyond repair are dismantled, and materials are recovered for alternative uses such as mulch, biomass fuel, or engineered wood products.
• 5.Return to Market: Recycled pallets are returned to the market, completing the circular economy cycle.

Environmental Impact

The environmental benefits of recycling 50,000 pallets are substantial. By keeping these pallets out of landfills and giving them new life, we have:

• Saved approximately 6,000 trees from being harvested
• Reduced carbon emissions by over 2,500 metric tons
• Diverted 15,000+ tons of wood waste from landfills
• Conserved natural resources and reduced energy consumption
